These gardens are well worth a visit. The variety in flora and fauna is amazing.
The Manoir d'Eyrignac is a 17th-century mansion in Salignac-Eyvigues, in the Dordogne department of France, surrounded by a reconstructed 18th-century Italian Renaissance garden and extensive topiary gardens. The house is located on the top of a hill, with water from seven sources. Only a pavilion, fountains and basins remain from the original 18th century garden. In the sixties the new owner, Giles Sermadiras created the Cuzols de Lile, the new garden, with topiary sculptures, vistas, fountains, statues and an allée of vases. The garden is mentioned by the Committee of Parks and Gardens of the French Ministry of Culture as one of the most remarkable gardens of France.
